Kamindu Mendis is a Sri Lankan all-rounder born on September 30, 1998, in Galle, who is known for his ambidextrous bowling. He is a left-handed batsman who bats and bowls right-arm off-spin, with international debuts in T20I in 2018, ODI in 2019, and Test in 2022. He has captained the Sri Lanka U19 team, plays for the national team in all formats, and was the 2024 Sri Lanka Cricket Male Cricketer of the Year.
