Josh Tongue is a 28-year-old English cricketer who plays for Nottinghamshire and the England Test team. A right-arm fast-medium bowler and right-handed batsman, he was born on November 15, 1997, in Redditch, Worcestershire. Known for his resilience after overcoming a career-threatening shoulder injury, he made his England debut in 2023 and took five wickets against Ireland. He is also known for his effectiveness against lower-order batsmen, earning him the nickname "The Mop".
