Ben Sears is a young, fast-bowling cricketer from New Zealand, known for his searing pace (often over 140kph) and bounce, who plays for the BLACKCAPS and Wellington Firebirds, making his international debut in T20Is in 2021 and later Test/ODI debuts, rising from Hutt International Boys' School and Wellington's age-group sides, and also studies Law. He's a right-arm fast bowler and right-handed batsman, with a strong domestic record and potential compared to Lockie Ferguson, despite earlier injury setbacks.
